Build Replica Cars on an Open EV Platform

The greatest cars ever drawn were never about the engine. They were about proportion, intent, and the courage to commit to a shape. Today, the drivetrain has changed. The shapes do not have to.

Replace the donor drivetrain. Keep the silhouette. Mount the body on a drivable, drive-by-wire electric chassis — built with automotive-grade steel, shipped with the manuals, drivable on delivery.

Explore the Platform

The Olympus Skateboard is an open, modular EV platform built for the automotive industry — a revolutionary mobility platform for builders, entrepreneurs, and corporate R&D offices. We provide the chassis, the CAD, the schematics, the pin diagrams. You bring the body. The only thing left is your imagination.

SECTION 01

Why the Olympus EV Platform

The Olympus Skateboard is the result of a single decision: that the powertrain should not be the reason a vehicle program takes seven years. We built a complete, drivable, fully documented EV chassis and we sell it to the industry — to builders, to startups, to corporate R&D offices, to anyone with a body design and the conviction to put it on the road.

The chassis is built with automotive-grade steel and is ready and waiting for the high-voltage and low-voltage elements to be assembled on top. Battery, motor, cooling, suspension, steering, brakes, cockpit electronics — already integrated and tested. We conduct every safety and hazard test in-house, so the platform you receive is a platform you can put your name on.

Most EV platforms are sold to OEMs under NDA. The Olympus Kit is sold to you, with the manuals included. CAD designs. Electrical schematics. Pin diagrams. The full instructions, so a small team can move from sketch to driving prototype without reverse-engineering anything.

SECTION 02

A New Chassis for an Old Idea

Replica building is one of the oldest acts of love in car culture. A builder studies a silhouette, sources a donor drivetrain, fabricates a tube frame, and spends two thousand hours putting it together in a garage. The result is something the factory never sold — a personal answer to a question the original car asked decades ago.

The tradition is alive. The donor drivetrain is dying. Carbureted V8s are getting harder to source, harder to register, and harder to live with. Emissions law is closing in. The next generation of builders wants the silhouette without the apology.

The Olympus Platform is the replacement for the donor car. A price that lands inside what serious builders already spend on a crate engine and a transmission — and a chassis that outperforms the donor in every measurable way.

SECTION 03

The Hard Way vs. The Olympus Way

Two paths to a finished replica. One assumes you are going to solve every problem in the powertrain stack yourself. The other assumes you would rather build a car.

THE HARD WAY

Without an open EV platform

  • Hunt for a salvage carbureted V8 and a matching transmission.
  • Fabricate a tube frame from scratch — measure, weld, jig.
  • Build a wiring harness with no documentation. Reverse-engineer everything.
  • Engineer a fuel system, cooling system, exhaust, emissions hardware.
  • Spend 80% of the budget on powertrain before the body ever sees the chassis.
  • Two thousand garage hours before the car will move under its own power.
  • Then start the emissions paperwork.

$60K–$100K

+ ~2,000 garage hours, + emissions paperwork

THE OLYMPUS WAY

With the Olympus EV platform

  • Skateboard arrives drivable. Battery, motor, suspension, brakes — integrated and tested.
  • Chassis is built with automotive-grade steel. Safety and hazard tests already conducted.
  • CAD designs, electrical schematics, and pin diagrams ship with the kit.
  • Bluetooth and CAN exposed. Link your mobile app to the car and read vehicle data.
  • Spend 100% of your time on the body, interior, stance — the parts builders actually care about.
  • Mount the body on top. That is it.
  • Electric — no emissions paperwork at all.

SECTION 04

What "Open" Actually Means

Open is not a marketing word here. It is a list of things you can do that closed platforms forbid.

WHAT THE PLATFORM GIVES YOU

>>

Adjustable Wheelbase

Length, width, height, and wheelbase configurable to your body. Shorter car? Shorter wheelbase. Truck? Truck-spec.

>>

Drive-by-Wire

No steering column. No master cylinder. Clean sheet for the body.

>>

Bluetooth + Mobile SDK

Bluetooth module included. Link your mobile app to the car and read live vehicle data straight from your phone.

>>

Low-Voltage Exposed

Every low-voltage element is exposed and addressable — headlights, lighting, accessories. With pin diagrams.

>>

Olympus OS & SDK

Write gauges, drive modes, telemetry. Tune throttle to the car you are building, not the one we shipped.

>>

Manuals Included

CAD, schematics, pin diagrams, mounting hardpoints. Fabricate to spec, not to a guess.

SECTION 05

One Platform. Every Wheelbase.

Huge dimensional flexibility. Every dimension is configurable — wheelbase, length, width, ride height — dialed to the body you are building, not the body we picked. If you want to build a shorter car, we provide a shorter wheelbase. If you want to build an industrial truck, we provide a truck-spec wheelbase. According to your needs, your requirements, your build.

SECTION 06

The Build, Without the Drivetrain Tax

The skateboard arrives drivable. Battery, motor, cooling, suspension, steering, brakes, and the cockpit electronics are already integrated and tested — every safety and hazard test conducted in-house before it ships. You spend your time on what builders actually care about: body, interior, stance, and the details that make the car yours.

01

Pick the Silhouette

Sketch, scale, define wheelbase and overhangs. Decide the era and the shape you are answering.

02

Configure the Wheelbase

Customized to your needs before the kit leaves the floor. We spec it to your dimensions.

03

Fabricate the Body

Fiberglass, aluminum, carbon, hand-formed steel. The platform does not care.

04

Mount on Top

Published hardpoints, documented CAN bus, real engineering drawings. Mount the body on the platform — that is it.

05

Tune & Drive

Drive modes, regen, throttle map, dashboard. Then drive it.

06

Iterate

Software-defined. Push updates, swap drive modes, tune the next car on the same chassis.

SECTION 07

Archetypes You Can Build

We are not in the business of telling you which car to recreate. We are in the business of making sure the chassis does not stop you.

01

60s Roadsters

Aluminum-bodied two-seaters. Short wheelbase, big rear haunches, no roof. The archetype that defined open-top performance.

02

Race-Bred Coupes

Le Mans silhouettes. Long, low, fastback. Built originally to win endurance races, now reborn without the fuel stops.

03

Mid-Engine Wedges

The 70s supercar shape. Sharp creases, scissor or pop-up details, the silhouette that put posters on every bedroom wall.

04

Prewar Hot Rods

Channeled bodies, exposed wheels, the American hot-rod silhouette. The platform's ground clearance and stance work in your favor.

05

Trial & Rally Replicas

Boxy, light, mechanical-looking off-road archetypes. 19.3 inches of ground clearance does the rest.

06

Concept Cars That Never Shipped

The drawings that died in design studios. Build the production version the manufacturer was too nervous to release.

SECTION 08
