Electric Industrial Utility Vehicles

What if you could skip the hardest part of building an electric vehicle? The Olympus EV Platform is a rolling, drivable chassis. Battery, motor, suspension, steering—done. You just add the body. Burden carriers. Tow tractors. Aerial lifts. Whatever you need.

The industrial utility vehicle market is dominated by specialty manufacturers building custom configurations on proprietary chassis. Each vehicle type requires dedicated engineering. Custom orders carry premium pricing and extended lead times. The Olympus EV Platform changes this by separating powertrain engineering from body design.

Why Build with Olympus EV Platform

100% Electric. Zero emissions. Zero fuel costs.

Customizable Dimensions. Length, width, and ground clearance can be configured to match your application. Wheelbase options from 105 to 153 inches. Configure your platform and purchase directly from the Olympus Kit page.

Fully Mobile. Complete drivable vehicle. No flatbed required for transport. Max speed 121 mph (within safety and hazard standards).

Faster and Affordable. Traditional EV development takes 8-18 months and costs millions. Our Lite platform starts at $27.5K. The Olympus platform is ready to drive. Mount your body, equipment, or machinery on a proven, tested, automotive-grade chassis. If needed, you can make it L4 autonomous.

Single Unit Orders. No minimum order quantities. You can purchase 1 platform for your business or sixty for your fleet. We'll partner with you when you are ready to scale to higher volume production.

Open Architecture. CAD design files, electrical schematics, pin diagram, T-Box telematics, ECU access, SDK access, BLE module, and CAN bus communication included. Olympus is an open platform, flexible with various upper-body vehicle configurations. It covers class 2, class 3, and class 4 vehicle categories across chassis, flat bed, VAN, and mini trucks.

L4 Autonomous (Optional). All platforms are drive-by-wire and brake-by-wire, ready for autonomous integration. Olympian is working with NVIDIA/Alpayamo to deliver L4 autonomy by 2027.

Build and Customize Your Own. Depending on your business requirements, operational and technical needs, you can build your own company vehicle. Our engineering team is ready to help with concept, design, prototyping, production, and assembly. We have been proudly working with clients and partners across the United States and Canada, helping them build new electric mobility solutions powered by the Olympus Platform.

Vehicle Types

Electric burden carrier

Electric Burden Carriers

Flatbed and enclosed cargo vehicles for material transport. Payload capacity up to 9,640 lbs. Ideal for warehouses, manufacturing plants, and distribution centers. Zero emissions enable indoor operation in food processing and pharmaceutical environments.

Electric tow tractor

Electric Tow Tractors

High-torque vehicles for pulling cart trains. Used in airports, rail yards, and large facility logistics operations. The electric drivetrain delivers instant torque for heavy loads. 2,146 ft-lb wheel torque available.

Electric aerial lift

Electric Aerial Work Platforms

Self-propelled elevated work platforms. The 400V high-voltage architecture powers hydraulic systems directly from the main battery pack. Zero exhaust for indoor operation. Low center of gravity provides stability at height.

Electric scissor lift

Electric Scissor Lifts

Compact elevated platforms for maintenance and warehouse operations. Quiet electric operation with smooth acceleration for precise positioning. Programmable speed limiting when platform is elevated.

Electric crane truck

Electric Crane Vehicles

Light-duty crane trucks for equipment installation and maintenance. Electric power provides precise control without engine vibration or exhaust. Suitable for HVAC installation, machinery moving, and facility maintenance.

Electric maintenance vehicle

Electric Maintenance Vehicles

Utility trucks with tool storage, compressor systems, and work equipment. DC fast charging enables extended shift operation with minimal downtime. 30% to 80% charge in under 30 minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to design the vehicle myself, or can Olympian help?

Both options. Our engineering team can take your concept from sketch to finished vehicle—design, fabrication, integration, testing. Or you can work with your own team or a third-party builder. We sell the skateboard platform; you decide who builds the body.

Who are Olympian's current customers?

Builders, small OEMs, classic car restoration companies, autonomous vehicle startups, and industrial fleet operators.

Can the platform handle regenerative braking under load?

Yes. The OneBox ESC system manages regenerative braking across all load conditions. Energy recovery is automatic during deceleration.

DC fast charging specs?

CCS2 connector. 30% to 80% in under 30 minutes at 77°F.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Single unit orders accepted.

Can I modify the steering geometry?

The platform uses steer-by-wire. Steering ratio, sensitivity, and limits are software-configurable through the VCU.

Lead time?

6-12 weeks from order confirmation.

How big is Olympian Motors?

Founded in 2021 in California. Engineering team of 15+ (excluding contractors). We focus exclusively on EV skateboard platforms and modular electric vehicle development.

Where is the platform built?

Designed and assembled in Irvine, California.
